Refugee DonationsWPC's Matthew 25 Committee is helping collect personal hygiene items for the Refugee Community Connection. You can drop off items during the week or on Sundays in the atrium.
Refugee Community Connection is an all-volunteer Chicago based mutual aid organization that seeks to ease the transition of our newly arrived neighbors (refugees, asylees, and others forced to flee their home country) into permanent housing in the Chicago area, by providing resources, information, and household necessities through a personal connection with welcoming neighbors. We seek to supplement refugee basic needs not already met by professional refugee resettlement agencies and government services. |
A Just HarvestA Just Harvest’s mission is to fight poverty and hunger in the Rogers Park and greater Chicago community by providing nutritious meals daily while cultivating community and economic development and organizing across racial, cultural and socioeconomic lines in order to create a more just society.

2022 Youth Mission TripOur youth mission trip 2022 was to Centralia (WA). Several of our young people, along with a few adult leaders, spent a week in Geoff's hometown volunteering at the Lewis County Gospel Mission, Gather Church, and the Seminary Hill Natural Area.
We were hosted by Harrison Square Presbyterian Church, who helped arrange these wonderful service opportunities for us. |
