 Welcome to the Youth Page! I am proud to be a part of a church which places such a great emphasis on the importance of children and youth in worship, and in the life of the church as a whole. From interactive Sunday school classes, held following worship, to regular youth group meetings to fundraisers supporting our mission trips to special events like Youth Sunday, where worship is planned and led by our Senior High, our youth are an enlivening presence in all aspects of the church. Every holiday season, the junior high youth of WPC collect gifts from "angels" in our congregation and deliver them to the residents of Jonquil Hotel. Jonquil Hotel is an outreach ministry of Good News Partners, providing housing for up to 58 families. The Angel Tree, with gift suggestions for Jonquil Hotel residents, goes up each year around Thanksgiving and the "angels" bring gifts, wrapped for delivery, to the church for the junior high students to deliver face-to-face just before Christmas. We are proud to share in ministry with Good News Partners! |

Confirmation classes are for any youth in seventh or eighth grade. The confirmation program is a two-year program with students being confirmed at the end of eighth grade. |
