3rd Grade is a year of transitions at church and in the personal growth of each child. This is typically the year he or she begins to think more concretely and can make more informed decisions. Third graders receive their own Bible from the church which we encourage them to use at home.
In the winter months during regular Sunday School time, third graders and parents can attend classes lead by our staff to explore our Presbyterian understanding of Baptism and the Lord’s Supper.
Twice a month, our Director of Music works with the Sunday school children on music that they will sing in worship periodically. The music that they learn complements the curriculum used in their Sunday school classes.
